April 26: Knitting Day at Avon Hills

Kate and Laila will be hosting beginning knitting in the morning, and a colorwork workshop in the afternoon! Join for one or both classes. You’ll learn how to knit, purl, cast on, and begin a project of your choice. This is an in-person class at Avon Hills Folk School, 31335 Kalla Lake Rd Avon, MN 56310. You will be providing your own materials.

Beginning Knitting, 9:30 - 12 pm

Colorwork Knitting, 1 - 3 pm

May 3: Knitting Demo at Gammelgården

Kate and Laila will be knitting at the Gammelgården Museum's Season Opening Day! Explore all this Swedish museum has to offer: exhibits, vendors, craft demos, and more. Come and knit with us - we'll be knitting all day long and be ready to talk about colorwork and other Scandinavian knitting traditions!

Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm.

May 10 & 11: Shepherd's Harvest

Kate and Laila will have a table at Shepherd's Harvest Sheep & Wool Festival at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo, MN! We will be selling wares and look forward to seeing you. If you plan to attend make sure to stop by our table and say hello.

June 7: Intro to Needle Felting

Learn the fun free-form craft of needle felting! This is a great artform for those who like creativity without charts, patterns or specifications. Needle felting is also great for the warmer months and is highly portable! Together we will use wool roving to create the 3D figure of your choice, bring your ideas. This is an in-person class at The Toolbox Collective.

Saturday 12 - 3 pm, $60 plus materials $25

Private Knitting / Corporate Events

Interested in private knitting lessons in Minneapolis? We offer 1-2 hour sessions at a variety of levels, from beginners to specific skills. $50 per hour. Ages 10 & up. Reach out to schedule using our contact form or our direct email.

Corporate Class Session - Looking for an entry-level craft for team building? We can guide up to 25 students and provide materials for you. Reach out for a proposal for your team.

1 Hour - $150 plus materials

2 Hour - $225 plus materials
