SKHR Arne Mittens - Digital Knitting Pattern

Inspired by family heritage, these mittens feature the iconic Selbu star pattern in a colorwork design. Find step by step instructions on how to create a thumb gusset and construct a traditional Norwegian style mitten.

Construction:

The Arne Mittens are knit cuff to tip.

YARN:

DK Weight wool yarn, two colors, 220 yards for MC and 110 yards for CC - Kate used Rauma Strikkegarn in Red and Off-white 

NEEDLES / NOTIONS:

Size 3 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge) - Circular if you prefer the magic loop or classic double-pointed needles
