Looking for a quick knit or the perfect pairing to the Reinrose Hat? You've found it! These aran weight Norwegian style mittens have a classic colorwork motif. Reinrose, Norwegian for Mountain Avens, or Holtasóley in Icelandic, is an eight petal Arctic–alpine flowering plant in the Rose family. It’s also the National Flower of Iceland! One size. These mittens are for medium size adult hands and are knit in stranded colorwork from the cuff to tip.

YARN:
Aran/heavy worsted weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors Approximate quantities for a pair: 100 yds/92 m MC & 80 yds/74 m CC

NEEDLES / NOTIONS:
Size 7 needles 4.5mm (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, stitch holders/waste yarn
